Does it need to be programmed?
Points for helping lower levels?
A helper title?
A school where the teachers are other players?
It can't be avoided. Rudeness and less social behavior will be in GW2 too. Rather a gloom picture to paint but..
Other than that I meet a lot of players that show signs of relieve when someone interacts with them ingame. Members that have joined guilds and have a [tag] and more often than once with [tag]s of pretty large guilds.
Somehow they are left out.
Next to that many players try to fit in teams having a predetermined build and don't know (were not instructed) properly how to use it to full benifit.
I think it would help a lot if some of the early missions put you in an NPC team and showed you how to use new skills and strategies for maximum benefit. Still I would like it if we could find ways to solo and have good team play.
One idea for teaming up is the reward. Yet too many still Red Quit or leech. There has to be a disadvantage for not being close to the party during battles in missions and quests. There would be more of a reward for others that fight. Drops would not be in the name of those that don't participate. [show less]
You might want to look at the topic "How anti-social behavior should be policed", for more ideas on this issue. Personally, I favor the carrot rather than the stick and often many of these issues can be circumvented with a little thought by the developers in rewarding people for good behavior.
