Everyone Can Solo

One thing that's noticeable with the currently released professions is that they should both be capable of solo play in the persistent part of the game. I expect that will apply to other classes too, especially now that the originally planned companion system has been dumped.

Chains Surprise

When the ele was released everyone was somewhat confused by the number of fixed skills: 4x5 = 20 + 5 optionals gives eles 25 skills (we now know eles will not be able to swap weapon in combat, so attunements directly replace weapon swaps) whilst other classes with a weapon swap would have 2x5 = 10 + 5 optionals = only 15 skills.

It turns out that warriors will make up to some extent for only having one weapon swap, by having skill chains which are on the same button. The chain for a short sword will be: Sever Artery / Gash / Final Thrust.

One consequence of putting this chain on a single button seems to be that if you use any other skill in between say gash and final thrust, then the chain resets and you have to start again with sever. This seems a bit inflexible, so not sure how that will work out in practice.
