Answer for: What things do you like most about Guild Wars?
#17 Ethnic Diversity
Not all of the good guys in this game are some form of northern European Caucasian. The full spectrum from palest pink to darkest brown is represented. Granted, brown skin in Prophecies and Factions is more of an afterthought than a feature. I always appreciate the effort.

geeawd can we please nip this in the bud and leave skin color out of any and all future conversations about a GAME???!!! My deepest apologies for being born with white skin, I try to stay as tan as possible so as not to offend anyone.
It is nice to see cultural diversity in a game. It was too bad the "Utopia" campaign got canceled. I was looking forward to seeing a more "Early Americas" (Mayan, Aztec, etc.) take on the game. Those cultures I rarely see in any game, let alone the MMORPG fantasy genre, which is almost always Medieval lore. Honestly, I''m sick of the idea of Dwarves and Elves from Northern European Mythology (Norse and Germanic Mythology). There are many other regions of the world with their own Mythological races, creatures, demons, stories, deities and ways of living that are just as interesting and fun. I feel any time when a game takes advantage of something untapped and takes the risk with presenting something new to their audience, they should be commended.
Get down gigo. The indigenous American cultures are missing in most of pop culture worldwide. It would be pretty righteous to play a game that respectfully builds a fantasy world on the various indigenous American cultures and myths.
