I believe Mesmers are the greatest profession. Their excitement comes from their versatility; Fast Casting allows them to be better casters than any other professions, whether they're working as a healer or a nuker, and their damage and interrupts are more sufficient than a Ranger or Warriors.

Not to mention their sense of style! ;)

Mesmers are a great idea. I particularly like interrupts - has to be the coolest skill in any game and it works in GW much better than in other games, because of the technical skill of the devs in keeping lag low.

One problem I have in PvE is that its very hard to target multiple mobs for interrupts and so hero mesmers have a large advantage since they know exactly which mobs are casting at any particular time.

I absolutely love my Mesmer with all my heart and soul, first off they can create the illusion of anything. think about it they can tank if they want to all they would need is some distortion and an illusionary weapon and a weapon of aggression and BAM! super illusionary tank. Also with the signet of illusions they can be any caster class they want with 16 attribute! Not to mention they can steal skills, interrupt skills, manipulate skills to slow em down or cause damage when they attack. There just absolutely perfect, I have to say there only flaw is they have to be prepared for what there going into in PVE. Such as if you know your going to be killing some charr you got to bring along mantra of flame so you don't get destroyed or hex eater signet when going into a place where u know the guy has suffering. Mesmer's defiantly take the most skill to play than any other class

Mesmer!.the first 5 basic profession Guild wars provides us .Mesmer is the one that shines.........my Guildie n i all choose mesmer in the first hand cuz we are curious about the class....its something new......yet the name rings a bell...Such originalty!
Mesmer put a twist in Guild wars Gameplay.u actually needs skills n brians to come up with numberous combos...PLS includes Mesmer as a profession in Guild wars 2.......they are the reason me n my guildie play Guild wars.they can be so much better in guild wars.u can help mesmers by giving them the ability to leech foe's energy For the Teammates this time.and i believe mesmer's Illsuion spell can be much more beautiful n fireworks than elem..........Mesmer's the counterattack class............ist the most originalty class i have ever played!........Please.please please include it in Guild wars 2!
