Good question. I meant the sequel to Baldur's Gate 1&2 on PC, which apparently is in development, but that's about all I know. Who is developing it or what the estimated release date is I'm not sure. BG 2 was pretty awesome.
Most of the games out there seems to blend together in likeness of each other by type. Shooter games shoot and RPG games are very similar to each other.
I don't like to have to be timed if I don't want to be. Also I like it if I can do primary quest and missions over again. I have a child and some times I can't complete where I am at in the game for other reasons.
It is nice if you don't have a save button to at least be able to try again, and in this with out having to go back to the beginning of the whole game.
I am looking for the next step into gaming. With limited memory for systems that makes it difficult. In the end though I do have many games I think are fun. Classics of all kinds.
Dragon Age (Released in November 09) is referred to as the "spiritual successor" to the Baldur's Gate series, by the Bioware CEO. I played it once and would recommend it. The PC version is generally thought to be the best of the bunch.
I actually liked Mass Effect a lot more, though, fwiw.
Thanks for that Sersun - hadn't noticed the release, will have to check it out. I liked Mass Effect too although I felt it became a little repetitive after a while.

Are you referring to Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance 3 or the Baldur's Gate PC series? Both great games.

Yeah, those are definitely classics. I played BG 2: Shadows of Amn. It was the first real RPG I ever played, and I have many great memories from it.
