#236 changing fighting styles

Arena Net is still considering having a limited skill bar, i believe this is a good idea as well but i think they should add something because GW2 will be so massive. In GW1 we could only change our skills in town but now we will be outside of town so very much more. I think we should still be limited to changing what is on our skill bar in town but we should have two or more different skill bars or "fighting styles". I think the players should be able to switch "fighting styles" on the fly when needed after they reach a specific level such as 10 they should be able to unlock an additional skill bar. The players will only be allowed to use one "fighting style" at a time of course but this will help players change to an ever changing environment and keep combat more interesting and fast paced. For example a ranger is bombarding an enemy from a far but then the monster gets into melee range it is unrealistic for someone to actually be fighting someone else with a bow in melee range. The ranger should be allowed to switch fighting styles and take out a sword with different skills. Though there will have to be restrictions for this such as a one minute or more cooldown or else a spell caster would simply double their skill bar size being able to switch whenever they wanted. If there is simply a one minute cooldown or even 30 seconds this would be prevented but warriors and rangers will still be able to switch "fighting styles" when someone gets in a different range or they want to switch to a hammer to destroy a spell caster. This changing fighting styles will also help spell casters as well of course because if an elementalist runs out of town specced for fire magic and all they find is beasts of fire they would be very inaffective the whole run unless they switched to a water magic "fighting style" or if there is a mix they will be able to switch back and fourth keeping fights very fast paced. This would also work with monks mesmers and neccros im simmilar fashions like the mesmer is specced to take down warriors but all he can find are spell casters he would be inaffective until he returned to town which they will not be able to do sometimes during random events like centaur, bandit or dragon attacks.

My character name is Melvar Veltora and i have been playing Guild Wars since prophecies came out and i have bought all three campaigns and the expansions as well as the bonus mission pack and loved them all the way through i have also recently bought the guild wars 2 art book and i cant wait until the new game comes out and i know Arena Net will not let us down because they have put so much effort into this project and they have been listening to the fans in what they think should be in the game and i thank anyone who has read this.
God Bless

this is my opinion but i think they should make it unlimited skill bar it would be alot less time consuming making more time for u to do less skill changing and more time for fighting and adventuring but that's just my opinion.
