#76 Leveling Up Weapons

I think it's a great idea to have weapons that evolve with game play. This matter has been discussed but the major idea was to give weapons "special skills" depending on the player style. That's not what I mean. When I talk about leveling up weapons i want to say that the weapons should have an experience bar like the player. But i also think that not every weapon should have it.

They should be, like called in other games, rare or unique weapons.

One of the Main ideas is that they should be accessible from early on, like having a very low rate of receving one on a job changing quest or something like that. So accessible but very rare. Giving the player a weapon that could be as good as a high level weapon but really common in the early stages, and getting better statts as the player/weapon levels up.

I also think that if this is accepted the weapon should take more time to "upgrade" than the player it'self giving at higher levels something to work for, and when in "full power" the weapon should be slightly better than the "common" ones.

It would be cool to give them a unique look to!! Like a dark version of an uncommon "ninja saber". Something like that.

I think this would make the gameplay deeper.

hmm, I think this could be done with special weapons, maybe as aa handicap to make it fairer it could bond to you so you couldn't weild anything else or some restriction or curse like that.
