Answer for: Guild Wars 2 Suggestions
#173 Profession: Warlock
I idea I have is making a warlock for GW2 (i know the name is rubbish) but my idea is basicly this, transformation! A class that transforms party members and enemies in different ways, for example enemies get changed into rocks, frogs and that kinda stuff but yourself and party members get transformed into powerful beasts, e.g Deamon, Massive wolf ect. Also warlocks have not mastered the art of transformatoin! So therefor these can go wroung, for example a spell you cast may have a 75% chance in chnging your charater into a mighty wolf but it go's wroung and you end up transforming yourself into a clown! or a spell that has a 66% chance to turn a enemy into a frog might turn your enemy into a mighty wolf if you "roll" less than 66%. Please let me know what you think of this idea.

I would be most greatfull to know what people think of this idea.
This sound like something straight out of Dungeons and dragons. The whole failure engine is goofed though. If you want the failure system, just don't make it an all or nothing, have it instead be a weakened affect. If you transform an ally into a wolf and the spell fails, he will be a weak wolf. Or if an enemy transformation fails, it will be a strong bunny.
Good point aarius. Well basicly dice rolls happen in more or less all rpgs. That's what the hit/miss thing is. I thought a killer bunny would be cooler than a simple hit/miss system.
not sure about this, I love the idea of self shapeshifting but not rolling a dice to see if it goes wrong, you should just be able to transform into better creatures as you level up in the skill.
Definately not on enemies though, that would be too easy.
